What this setting controls
When you arrive from one of our Google ads, Google Ads stores the ad-click identifier in a first-party cookie on this site, and our website reports to Google Ads whether that visit led to a call or a request. That report contains no name, email, phone or ZIP code. We do not use Google Ads to show you ads based on your visit to our website or on your activity on other websites, and we do not sell personal data.
When you turn the setting off, our website tells Google not to store advertising cookies or receive advertising data from your visits on this browser, starting immediately. Google Analytics, which we use to understand how the site is used, continues unless you also install Google's opt-out browser add-on. Either way, you can still request an estimate.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser or a browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as the same choice automatically: advertising measurement stays off on every visit from that browser, and the setting above shows it. To change that, turn Global Privacy Control off in your browser or extension settings.
